Elyon High School

Elyon High School is a private school and was started in June 2006 as a result of parents’ demands for secondary education for the urban slum children who had completed their standard 8 at Dagoretti Corner Primary School. The school has students from the Congo, Dagoretti Corner, Githembe, Ng’ando, Kawangware, Riruta and Kibera slums (an estimated 40 square Kilometres).
