- AIM OF THE MEETING
The congregation was meeting for the main cause of commemorating the death & resurrection of our lord Jesus Christ.
- THE DEVELOPMENT
After this festival which is celebrated in remembrance of the demise and resurrection of Jesus Christ, believers continued to increase and even 10 people believed and accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour & up to now they are devoted to the faith. This occasion had a great enthusiasm that has made the Church to proceed even those without Christ now desire to baptism and turning to Christ.
- OUR ATTITUDE
Accordingly, this great assembly which took place in this location of the Earth, we expect a great success in spreading the Gospel of the Lord everywhere and even to neighbouring countries according to the way of the Gospel.
- OUR PRAYER
In our church, there is work we can manage in our own way and what we cannot, according to the weight of the job. I hope, when you read this article; to know that this field is a new field that needs your help for more success and to spread the Gospel of the Lord everywhere. May the Almighty God bless you and most welcome for visiting us and for your contribution.
NB: The ceremony gathered all of Elyon faithful from the parish of Kasenga (Uvira) in Eastern Congo, the region next to the territory of Burundi, and is on the coast of Lake Tanganyika.
Although the building is not complete and steady, yet God’s work goes on well with all the choirs persistent to ensure that God’s Word is being preached through the songs as well.

SCHOOL FLOODING
On the onset of El Nino rainy season, the waters flooded the classes and the surroundings. It is prudent that something ought to be done with speed for the surroundings to be habitable and conducive to learning. We request for adequate funding to be able to do the necessary renovations.

EVANGELISM TO THE HIDDEN WORLD
Glory be to God who has given us opportunity to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the rural areas of Mbita, Njalo, Kidzaya and Kaphungani in Kwale County and started one Church with few born again members.
Having surveyed the area, I noticed bitterness and pain issues which we ought to pray about, the people from that area are very poor, no education, people live by burning and selling charcoal for food and solve their needs. Worse enough the trees to cut for making charcoal are finished, which has resulted in scarcity of rain to a desert environment.
Their children do not go to school and the few going reach up to grade eight (8). I noticed something bad, the eighth grade who did their KCPE (National Final Examination); last year alone five girls and two boys got married.
Salvation has not reached yet; most people live in traditional houses and worship their forefathers’ spirits.
The answers for these challenges is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and meeting of their basic physical needs of life along with dynamic empowerment of physically able persons of the community.
